KidzArt Summer Camps Scheduled in Jackson Township!

*Both Camps June 20th - 24th at Strausser Elementary*

Students will bring a packed lunch and all supplies, pre-approved snacks
and specially trained Certified KidzArt Instructors are included.
Open to any Jackson local Elementary schools’ students grades 1st - 5th

Art & Drama Summer Camp: Students will experience the joys of both art and theater activities in this action packed camp! They will learn about set design, improvisation, and performance as well as the mixed media art portion. At the end of the week there will be a short play and gallery of art work so the students can show off all that they have learned throughout the week! Full day camp: 9:30am—3:30pm

Art Lovers Summer Camp: Students will experience a range of artistic media including drawing, painting and also 3D sculpture! The students will also take part in some of our art games and interactive activities. At the end of the week there will be a gallery showing of all the artwork created during the week. Full day camp: 9:30am—3:30pm

Student Artist Profile: Grace Hlavin




Meet Gracie, she is an excellent KidzArt student! She is known by her KidzArt Instructors for working quietly and intently, as she is serious about her work! She lives in Bath and is in the first grade at St. Hilary School in Fairlawn. Gracie's favorite art medium to use is paint and her favorite artist is Sister Carol Joy at her school. She has been involved in the AEC Community KidzArt Classes for 3 years and her favorite project she has done so far was the mask(pictured below).

In addition to art, Gracie also enjoyes horseback riding and her enrichment class at school where she learns about famous famous writer’s, artists, plays and literature.

Student Artist Profile: Sydney and Marina Roseberry

Today we have a special sisters version of the student artist profile! Marina and Sydney Roseberry are from Canal Fulton. Both girls are in kindergarten at Strausser Elementary in Massillon and both attend our KidzArt Imagine class there.

Sydney has been part of the KidzArt program at Strausser since September and her favorite project so far was the glitter scratch art bird. She enjoys using paints and her favorite artist is Eric Carle. Sydney also loves reading, doing gymnastics, playing soccer and spending time with her family.

Sydney's sister Marina has also been part of the KidzArt program at Strausser since the class began this September and her favorite project so far has been the cow (pictured below). She loves to use watercolors and her favorite artists are the Disney Artists. In addition to art, Marina loves gymnastics, dancing and playing soccer.

KidzArt Holiday Products!

Throughout the next few weeks many of our KidzArt students will be creating special holiday themed projects that will be photographed and uploaded into their private viewing gallery at: www.kidzartproducts.com. Parents will have the option of ordering a variety of fun products depicting their child's artwork!

KidzArt Products builds confidence in children as they see their own creations used every day by mom and dad, friends and relatives. It’s an amazing way to honor your child. And the best part is, each artist has his/her OWN art gallery of masterpieces.

Student Artist Profile: Carmen Rowe



Today we have a very special BIRTHDAY edition of the Student Artist Profile. Meet Miss Carmen Rowe who is turning 7 years old today! Carmen lives in Copley and is a 2nd grader at Fort Island Elementary School. Carmen has been taking KidzArt classes since March of 2009 and has also introduced a lot of her friends to our program! Carmen's artwork has impressed her KidzArt Instructors from the very beginning. She loves working with the Sculpey clay and the Prismacolor markers. Some of her favorite KidzArt projects have been: "Bunny on Chair" and also "Sun and Moon", both pictured below. Carmen would say her favorite artist is Georgia O'Keefe. In addition to art, she also enjoys playing softball, soccer and basketball, swimming and playing with her friends. We have really enjoyed having Carmen in our Community KidzArt class and would like to with her a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! :D
